Martina's Story
Hello, I’m Martina. I love being creative and making crafts with my children.
I started to teach arts and crafts in March 2020 (during Covid lockdown). A parent in my daughter’s class set up a social Zoom call. I noticed that the louder children dominated the call and their classmates couldn’t get a word in edgeways. I decided to offer free online “Craft Wednesday”, classes. I left a box of arts and crafts materials outside my house and the children were welcome to come and take whatever they needed. The classes were fun, creative
and full of chats.
Parents suggested that I set up formal classes. That was just an idea until Vanda and I joined forces in March 2022. Now we have Make It! and I’m delighted to be in the classroom and to
meet the children in person.
